Henry House Community School
The Full Story
Henry House Community School (formerly known as Henry House International School) was established in September 2010 by Dr David Atubra and Mrs Bernice Atubra as their way to "pay it forward" to the community they hail from.

The school is situated in Ho-Kpenoe in the Volta Region and serves students from Kindergarten through to Basic 9. In 2024, the school appointed Ms Akofa Wallace (the eldest daughter of Dr and Mrs Atubra), as the new Chief Executive Officer. Staying true to the original vision of the school, Ms Wallace rebranded Henry House as a not-for-profit community school, committed to delivering the Ghana National Curriculum while augmenting the student learning experience with an array of co-curricular activities, cultural exchange experiences and annual school trips.

Now in its 15th year, almost 200 students continue to benefit from the educational experiences provided. A phenomenal 64 students are currently benefitting from one of our scholarships, with the aim of offering up to 100 places by 2026.

Vision
To be a learning centre of excellence for the Ho-Kpenoe community and its environs.
Mission
To provide high quality education in a safe and inclusive environment to nurture the desire for lifelong learning in all our children
