Academics

Henry House Community School (HHCS) employs only the best teachers residing in the Volta Region. All HHCS teachers receive regular professional development in order to implement the best pedagogy practices in Ghana.

The School delivers the Ghana National Curriculum and is inspected by the National Schools Inspection Agency (NASIA) annually. The school is a member of the Ghana National Association of Private Schools which ensures we're up-to-date with the current pedagogy and practices.

Kindergarten

The Kindergarten class practices child-centered learning through play. The students, guided by a highly qualified teacher, learn about themselves and the world around them

Lower Primary

The Lower Primary classes comprise of Basic 1 to Basic 3. In these classes, students are taught Ewe, English, Mathematics, Science and French.

Upper Primary

The learning that takes place in Upper Primary builds on the foundations built in Lower Primary. As part of efforts to augment the Ghana National Curriculum, students in Basic 5 participate in a cultural exchange programme with a school based in the United Kingdom.

Junior High School

Students in Junior High School learn Ewe, English, Mathematics, Computing, French, Religious and Moral Education, Science and Social Studies. They are taken through the rigors of learning to adequately prepare them to take the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE). Over the years, our students have successfully gained admission to Ho's most reputable Secondary Schools.

EduSpots

In August 2024, Henry House Community School was selected as the home of the Ho-Kpenoe Spot, following a highly competitive application process. This community library programme ensures our students literacy rates are the highest in the city.
